Reactions
When Cryo meets Pyro, Melt occurs. The effects of Cryo and Pyro will dissipate when Melt occurs. Melt itself does not inflict DMG. However, the Pyro or Cryo attack that triggers Melt deals increased DMG.
When Cryo meets Hydro, Frozen occurs. Frozen beings are rendered immobile, but also become rock-hard.
When Cryo meets Electro, Superconduct occurs. Superconduct deals AoE Cryo DMG and significantly decreases Physical RES for the affected being.
An upgraded form of Superconduct introduced in Snezhnaya: when Cryo meets Electro (or vice versa) while a party member able to trigger Stellar reactions is present (as of Version 7.0: Sandrone, the Cryo Traveler, or Odette), Superconduct is replaced by Stellar-Conduct. The surrounding area becomes a Polestar Field, granting characters standing in it a Cryo and Electro DMG bonus, while also dissipating elemental energy from and shredding the Physical RES of affected enemies. Triggering Stellar-Conduct (or Stellar Swirl) counts as triggering the umbrella Stellar Glimmer reaction.
An upgraded form of (Cryo) Swirl introduced in Snezhnaya: when Cryo reacts with Anemo while a party member able to trigger Stellar reactions is present (as of Version 7.0: Sandrone, the Cryo Traveler, or Odette), the reaction becomes Stellar Swirl instead of ordinary Swirl. It deals a small amount of Anemo DMG in a small AoE and spawns or strengthens a Stellar Vortex; repeated triggers raise the Vortex's level, and it detonates for damage after 4.5s (or immediately once fed by 6 Swirls). Vortex damage scales on Elemental Mastery and CRIT, weighted toward whichever contributing character has the highest EM/CRIT/Stellar DMG stats. Triggering Stellar Swirl (or Stellar-Conduct) counts as triggering the umbrella Stellar Glimmer reaction.
